Could ds be allergic to balloons??

Left ds and dd playing downstairs whilst i tidied bedrooms came down stairs to find ds having an allergic reaction all swollen face itchy and red. couldn,t have eaten anything as they were in front room but dd had found some ballons and was blowing them up. could they cause such a reaction.
I'm at the end of my teather as ds seems to be reacting to everything at the minute

yes I have a latex allergy .. well I do in certain parts of my anatomy IYSWIM

it is worth getting the allergy confirmed as there is a very lonmg list of potential triggers with latex in and it could lead to more serious problems such as anaphylaxis in some cases

Sounds like a Latex allergy, my Dd1 has it too. Can be lifethreatening, so would be careful and keep Latex away from him.

We've got Epipens for other allergies what else should i avoid not sure what else contains latex

some medical type gloves contain latex so be aware of that if you use them around the home or go to the GPs/hospital

Isn't there some fruit you're meant to avoid if y ou're allergic to latex too?

can i ask, is he drinkign a lot of juice?

robinsons sugar free but he will drink anything think nursery have juicee
