Can someone recommend an anti histamine that really isn't non- drowsy? I am allergic to dogs and have visitors on the weekend who are bringing their dog - don't ask! All the non drowsy ah I have taken in the past have knocked me out...need something that will work and let me cope with a housefull!

i found zirtek really knocked me out, though they are supposed to be non drowsy! I use clarityn on Boots' own brand

For adults, I use the one-a-day Tesco own brand - was the only one I found that didn't make me hyper and unable to sleep at bedtime.

(doesn't make me drowsy either, should clarify I seem to react to most anti-hystamines, even the drowsy ones, with insomnia for some bizarre reason)
