I have a 6.5 month old dd who was exclusively bf (apart from two bottles of formula at one day old) until I started to wean her onto solids at almost 6 months. She had an allergic reaction to porridge with cows milk in it, and I discovered she had a cmp allergy. She was quite refluxy as a newborn and had rashes from time to time but nothing serious, I just assumed she was the same as all newborns. Midwives, HVs and GP all said it seemed normal. anyway, I have continued to bf alongside giving (non dairy) food, with the occasional bottle of nutramigen. However I have not cut dairy out of my diet and am now wondering if I should? I tried for a day or two and it was SO HARD so I decided it wasn't worth continuing for no obvious reason. But I obviously will do anything I need to if I am potentially causing harm to my dd.
HVs and GP s have been frankly uninterested and unhelpful so I feel a bit lost. Advice and information online is conflicting. Any help much appreciated!
