I dyed my hair this eve and am itchy

Did a patch test - was fine.

This eve my hair line, scalp, neck, shoulders, back and top of my arms (assume where dye has run over as washed it off) itch like hell.

No redness of bumps, just itching thankfully.

Am on predniselone anyway - 40mg which I took this morning.

have taken a further 2 tabs this eve. And fexofenadine.

What otc antihistamine might help? Piriton or another?

Gosh thats unlucky but the prednisolone and fexofenadine will calm things down, but if you are desperate it is ok to take another fexofenadine even if the dose is 180mg per tab but try to see your gp or nurse practitioner monday. Cold wet flannel or cloth on the scalp will help to cool the skin and reduce the itch too. Of course if you have any swelling of the tongue, soft palate or difficulty breathing then you need to get to a+e asap.
