Egg intolerance?

I've been playing with a FODMAP diet & despite thinking I am dairy intolerant I am starting to wonder if that is a less aggressive intolerance and if egg is my primary problem

I have violent diarrhoea with 2-3 hours of eating anything with egg in & then have associated pain for some days afterwards (joint/bone/muscle)

Is this possibly an egg intolerance or is it less likely

So far the dietician has removed so many foods finding the 'problem' food is a dream for me

It's a possible, you know what you have to do don't you?

Remove egg from your diet for 3 weeks so it works out of your system. Keep a food diary. Then after 3 weeks have a day of eating typical non-egg food but add egg in. If your bottom explodes then remove egg again and see the Dr with your own research.

I know

But it's a pain doing that

I am ungrateful - I just wish I could find out without the pain etc

Sorry!

It's a pain but your bottom will thank you for trying.

I would introduce egg back in baked goods 1st to see if you react that. Many people with egg allergy can tolerate egg in baked goods.
