9 year old, first excema flare up

My DD is currently having an excema flare up. She has occasionally had a bit of dry skin and a bit in her elbow creases and her skin has felt dry, but never had it this badly before.

I have been using diprobase, zero base and Zeroderm to moisturise and a bit of hydrocortisone cream on the worst bits. She washes using Aveeno shower oil. I have these creams in cos I got excema when pregnant and now keep on top of it with Aveeno wash and diprobase. My DD also had bad nappy rash which lasted into childhood so she washes with the Aveeno anyway.
However she is now itchy all over with pinprick rashes, and the scaly red patch on her arm is spreading into the little red spots further down her arm.
I'm taking her to chemist later to see what they recommend. And will make a doc appt, just don't think it counts as an emergency so won't get one today.
It's just really odd that she has flared up now, I had bought some comfort pure fabric c which I have used before no problem, but seems more perfumed now, so have washed her stuff through with surcare liquid and fabric c. But other than that nothing is different, so unsure why she has suddenly got all itchy. Have started to give her Piriton as well as she is uncomfortable. Anyone got any similar experience of a late age outbreak, and have you ever worked out what brought it on?
Thanks

You need to take her to the GP and he needs to prescribe medication especially for her.

Do you know if she has any allergies?

Can't get docs appt till Monday 12 May! the but will ring for an emergency one if it's still as bad in a couple of days. Went to a pharmacist today who confirmed it looked like eczema and couldn't provide any steroid stuff for her over the counter and said the same as you, but I will carry on with the moisturisers as the Aveeno she has prescribed for washing anyway and the moisturiser and Piriton is helped the itch. No known allergies but she has had hives once but no idea what brought them on and it's not happened since. We are a bit of an allergic family but nothing serious.

Got to docs today as no better, she has eczema and a skin infection, got Dermol cream and wash, betnovate cream for the bits which aren't broken skin and antibiotics.
