Does anyone know how long I would have to go dairy free for the proteins not to be in my breast milk? ds diagnosed cow protein intolerant although as far as we are aware not lactose intolerant. Dr's told me to go dairy free 2 days before trying him again on breast milk. I did and he started vomiting again so I assumed he was also intolerant to breast milk. However, I am now wondering if this was long enough for everything to have left my system.

Very very rare to be allergic to breastmilk. Me thinks you need to post on the breast/bottle topics for advice from tiktok and/or mears.

I shouldn't think that 2 days would do it. My ds gradually got better over 6 weeks when I gave up dairy and egg. However his was an eczema thing and not vomiting - I would have been terrified to try for so long if nothing was staying down. I hope you get some good advice on the other thread.
