Im new so hi (waves)

I habe a problem and I wondered if any of you ladies could enlighten me.

I have a 3yo daughter. She goes to preschool 2.5 days a week. I knew she was sensitive to orange colour(E no's) so I always avoided sweets and food with the offending E no's in them. Then on picking her up from school last week I was Stopped and told I had too many orange items and bad foods in her lunch box and that her behaviour is suffering for it. (I was a bit miffed because I always tried to give her a health lunchbox but if this explains the behaviour then great its a start)

So I have been given a long list of foods she cant have. Things Like orange juice, cheese string, prawn cocktail crisps, most of the squash on the market. Then I am told vinegar is bad too along with paprika in foods.

So I now have a growing list of things shes not allowed to have but I am a bit stuck as to what she can have.

Can anyone help? Or if there is somewhere I can get a list of acceptable foods. I know I suffered when I was little but in the eighties everything had E nos in them. Now everything is apparently natural colours and flavours but thats not as amazing as they make out.

Thanks for reading
Marni

" Then I am told vinegar is bad too along with paprika in foods. " who told you that? Why is paprika bad? I would be doing a bit more research on this.

Hi - Are they suggesting a balsam allergy? I think paprika fits with that.
