Hello, just joined mumsnet. I'm sure this has been discusssd before but I am hoping for any new tips. I am after boys cotton school trousers at a reasonable price. I have tried Tesco, Sainsburys, Adams, M&S (wool mix too hot..), Woolworth, Littlewoods, Debenhams, John Lewis, Grattans, Cotton traders, Eczma website (cotton trousers for a 6 year old are £22 too much..)every schoolwear website my search engine has thrown up and Asda - who do sell cotton trousers but the fit and quality are dire. Surely, someone must sell reasonably priced trousers?

I found a website recently selling fairtrade cotton uniforms but they are expensive - £19.75 for trousers.
The link is

here

Don't think I've ever come across pure cotton ones in the chain stores (probably because the manufacturers are wanting to sell something durable and easy to wash)
