IgE test-do I stop taking antihistamines tablets before test??

Hi all, I am scheduled to have an IgE test next week general and for peanut allergy.I had this a few years ago.I am currently taking 2 antihistamines daily as suffer from atopic dermatitis.Now silly me never asked if I stop taking tablets before it or does it matter??I would appreciate any ideas! thanks x

seoda, I think you'd need to check with the clinic. FWIW DD has an appointment at the allergy clinic on Monday and they told us to stop any antihistsmine beforehand as it can skew skin prick test results. Obviously that advice was given to DD and I'm not suggesting it's general advice.
