Hello - has anyone else had a DC confirmed with a Lupin allergy and if so how common is this in bought food? my DS is already allergic to egg and nuts and sesame so most bakery products are already out of bounds... apparently its widely used in continental europe and contains one of the same allergens as peanut as is a legume. Just wishing to understand how much more complicated this will get in terms of avoidance!

Hello - the Anaphylaxis Campaign has a factsheet about Lupin allergy on their website - www.anaphylaxis.org.uk/what-is-anaphylaxis/our-factsheets. Hope this helps :-)
