could these symptoms indicate intolerance?

My son, nearly 3, for the last couple of months has been very pale with black bags under his eyes, lethargic, sleeping loads, not interested in playing, clingy, tearful. He often wants to ho back to bed straight after breakfast, doesn't want to go to playgroup or preschool.

I'm getting quite worried. I took him to the Dr who checked heart, lungs, lymphs, spleen, eyes - for anaemia, ears and couldn't find anything wrong with him. He does have a coarctation of his aorta but his heart doesn't sound any different to normal and his bp is fine so that's not the problem.

Could these symptoms indicate food intolerance?

The black bags is a common thing for people who have intolerances. I had a lot of soya in a couple of days, had 2 shiners and felt like I'd got the flu. That when I went to the GP and got tested for dairy and soy.

There's some good info here Smile

Have they checked his iron and vit D levels? My teenage son had a vit D deficiency which made him incredibly lethargic, as soon as he was put on bit D his energy levels shot up.
