MiddleyGrip has asthma. The sort that means we know all the staff at A+E, gah.

He's off-the-scale-allergic to dust mites. The bastarding wee buggers.

We've got anti-allergy bedding protectors on his mattress, pillows and duvet. I change his pillows and duvets every 12 weeks. I wet dust his room twice a week (takes fecking hours)

He's got laminate, no curtains, no rug.

No furry pets (though, we do now have a baby budgie in the house, which is a long, and painful story)

I saw a thread on here about steam cleaners...which say they kill dusmites. Any of you use them? Any good?

can't believe I'm getting excited about cleaning items. I used to be fun

Mite. Not bite. Biting Dust is the stuff of nightmares.
