Protective gloves for messy play?

3 y.o. DS1 has various allergies and intolerances and has sensitive skin on his hands (formerly eczema, though now under control).

Back when we used to see the eczema nurse she mentioned a type of stretchy gloves that could be used for messy play activities so he didn't get irritated hands from paint etc. I think she said it was available on prescription.

Now his eczema is so much better I wouldn't get a prescription, but I'd love to know what the name of the gloves are to see if I can get hold of some.

Any ideas?

Look at Comfifast or Tubifast on line. They do small stretchy gloves for children but they would not protect from paint as it would seep through. Cotton comforts do child size cotton gloves which wash really well. DD wore them throughout nursery and reception for sand play, painting, play in soil, glueing etc. They've been really good.
