Knorr stock cubes

Hi all
I have a 2 year old allergic to dairy, nuts and eggs. We've been having issues with a particular pasta sauce that nursery make for him, and the only ingredient we can't rule out is knorr vegetable stock cubes.

I've googled, and there is one mention on here that they contain 'stealth' dairy but no further details across the whole Internet! Anyone else had issues with them? Or is it more likely that he's allergic to something else in there (celery??) and he just hasn't come across it before.

Any thoughts?

Marigold Swiss Vegetable Vegan Bouillon Powder

It has nutmeg, don't know if that is a problem most veg stock does, but it certainly dairy and egg free.

I wouldn't risk the nursery making him anything,

the bento will keep anything hot all day, (fill with boiling water and tip away before you add the food)

I suspect that nursery will have too many chances of cross contamination.

Call them on 0800 731 1411 and they will be able to tell you the allergens in the stock cubes

Thanks both. I will ring knorr and ask, though I've studied the ingredients and info, and nothing in there that is obvious.

Nursery are generally brilliant to be honest, have a great system and we've had no problem at all beyond this one dish, so i dont suspect cross contamination. They've suggested that I send in a stock alternative, which we will do, but I'm still keen to identify if we've found a 'new' allergy or if it is somehow related to his existing ones. .
