dd1 ids currently having a reaction to god knows what. she has been taking her anti-histimine so dont know what can be causing it. a huge welt has appeared by her eye, is pretty much in one area, so am just gonne have to keep an eye (no pun) on it. hopefully it wont be as bad as the last one near there that put so much pressure on her eye we could see the eyeball bubble. she looked like she had been punched very badly as she was so puffy.

she seems fine, her eye is still swollen, just scary after olast years reaction which was just nasty and nothing we could do about it as it wasnt dangerous enough. all we could do is give piriton. she is now on a stronger anti-histimine (loratadine) and this reaction has been noted in my diary for her consultant to see.

she has only had one appointment at the clinic so far, next one is in may. dd will be 4 next month. she woke this morning with her eye still slightly swollen but less than last night. i think they are going to see how she does over the next 3months and then decide on further action.

I've had badly swollen eyes from an allergic reaction to house dust several times before. They feel kind of bruised once the swelling goes. Definitely that "10 rounds with Tyson" look. I assume it's dust mites or a mould of some sort. I've never got to the bottom of it.

Anyway, I hope your DDs OK now and you find out what causes these reactions.
