Hi just started blw with my 6 months old who has a suspected cows milk allergy, she is on nutrimegm formula.

Anyone got any tips, advice they can give me, I am scared and feel so worried that she won't get the right amount of calcium.

Keep with the nutrimegm formula, but for cooking that you are going to eat also, our dietician (DS1 was bf, but needed dairy free for 6 months) suggested Oatly enriched with calcium.

He was fairly small, so we went for "milky" puddings I made up jelly with oatly rather than water, and made self saucing cakes with pure and oatly.

Peanut butter and avacados are good for extra calories, as is tuna tinned in oil.

Can your little one have soya? My ds gets plenty of calcium from his soya yogurts

Thanks lovelies x not sure about soya as she was on cow and gate infasoy formula for 2 weeks before being prescribed nutriragem, and I think she wasn't too good on it, but I might try the alpro yogurts as a trial.
