Lactose intolerant DD is reacting to something she eats occasionally, at lunch. And I can't work out what!

Is the Ham breaded (with milk in)? Or if it's cured then sometimes milk products are used in that process.

I assume you've checked that everything else she's eating with the Ham is ok? bread and rolls can contain milk, as can mayo, crisps etc.

If she's intolerant rather than allergic, the reaction might be coming from an earlier meal such as breakfast.

It's quite a severe intolerance and she normally reacts quickly which is why I'm fairly sure it's from lunch. Her breakfast is normally a dairy free cereal, fruit and coconut milk.

It is cured barvarian ham from aldi? none of the ingredients seem to contain dairy, but it does have preservative etc, which I don't know much about... We've only had an issue since we started shopping at aldi, so i'm sure it's something from there! The wraps, again, don't list anything obviously contain dairy.

Hmm.

I might have to start avoiding everything with a vague ingredients list at this rate!
