Is this egg allergy?

My DS is 12mths. At 11mths I decided to make him his first omlette, with just a little milk and cheese. He woofed it down and seemed to enjoy it. Moments later the whole lot came back up. He has had eggs in a carrot cake I made him, and also on his little chicken fingers and I'm not sure what else without any notable reaction. He does have eczema and his dad has hayfever type allergies. What do you guys think? And if yes than what do I do and if no do you think I should try him again?

Advice much appreciated, Sim

Hi, was the egg cooked solid? Ds is allergic to egg white when it is uncooked/runny. He is fine with egg white that has been cooked till it is no longer runny.

Should really take him to your GP. Although this was his first reaction (if indeed that was what it was) if it happened again it could be more serious. This happened recently to my DS 9mths and we were advised to keep him on an egg free diet until he had been reviewed by a specialist.

Bunny, the egg was definitely cooked solid.
Marlou, I will give the doctor a call on Monday and in the mean time you have made me curious about what other reactions he could have. Thanks guys.
