So butter used to sauté some onions gave my DS 7mths a reaction. What can I use instead which is just as fatty? I have used olive oil but I'm not sure it's as fatty. Thanks x

Olive oil with a knob of spread (pure brand or vivitalte) is really good.

Olive oil for cooking.

Pure olive oil spread (it's non-dairy, not all brands are) for spreading and baking etc. (Pure is the name of the brand.)

Oils are as fatty as butter. Where did you get the idea that they aren't?

I would use olive oil as well.
