Citric acid intolerance?

Hi, just wondering if anyone has any experience/info on this. Waiting to see GP for confirmation/referral but so far DS (4 months, EBF) doesn't seem able to tolerate anything citrus or citric acid in MY diet.

If I do eat anything with citric acid in DS is very sick (projectile, nearly the whole feed) within a few hours. Also very upset with it. Will get to the point (if I can't work out what is suspect quick enough) that he can't keep a feed down. When I do get diet right, he's not sick at all. Difference is 1-2 muslin a day normally, to 1 per hour when he's reacting to it & being sick.

Started with orange squash at 9 weeks (only new food - stopped it and he stopped being sick.) Then lemon cake, yoghurts with citric acid in, grapes, raisins, pineapple.

This weekend he was really sick, couldn't figure it out, worked out eventually that we'd changed butter from Clover (free from citric acid) to Flora (on offer- contains citric acid...).

Does anyone else have experience of this?!!
