Can anyone recommend a sun cream for a baby with eczema?

Hi, My 7 month old baby has eczema that seems to be under control atm (thank god). But im worried about putting sun cream on him as he has very sensitive skin and the smallest thing can bring on a flare up. Obviously im keeping him covered and out of the sun an much as I can, I was just wondering if anyone knew of a good sun cream I could also use? Thanks in advance

Sudocrem have bought out a suncream mousse and aftersun that's hypoallergenic/sensitive we haven't tried it yet but I put a bit on my arm and it seemed ok x

The dermatology clinic we attend recommended Sun Sense Ultra. We ordered it through Boots.

Oh thanks, I didnt know sudocrem did it. My little boy has such sensitive skin that I think it might be trial and error for a couple of times. Ill test them on small areas first. He hasnt had any reactions to actual sudocrem though so fingers crossed!

Sun sense here as well. You can get it on prescription for excema. Goes on really easily, and has been one that my daughters skin can tolerate.

I'm watching this with interest As my ds had eczema too - although it is very mild and under control - like you I don't want to mess it up with sun cream.

We are using Nivea sun just now, factor 30. Higher factors give my dd prickly heat.

Does the sun help or hinder eczema generally? Or does it depend on the child?

Sudocreme Mousse here - lovely and easy absorbed/non greasy. I use it on my face too now!

My 5 month old dd both sucks a lot and rubs her eyes with her hands, which means holding her down until its soaked in. Bepanthan and banana boat too slow to sink in she wriggled out of my grip, rubbed her face then cried for half an hour.

I was specifically warned to avoid nivea due to sensitivity and because plenty of kids manage to burn with it on for some reason.

Oh really adegio? I wi keep an eye in that, though We used it last year too with no problems.

I always wash dd's hands after applying the sun cream and don't put any around her eyes or forehead - but that's only if she keeps her hat on...we had an awful day at the park when she rubbed her face and eyes and her poor eyes were red raw since I stared washing her palms and fingers its helped.
