Does anyone know of a soya free bread? I would like to buy some for DS but can't find any.

this might be an idea you can control what goes in.

Thanks. I do a have one if these but I'm a coeliac so can't use it to do 'normal' bread because of contamination.

DS eats gluten free bread at the moment but its expensive and I'd like to add more gluten to his diet. The s some to have soy in though & he's allergic to dairy & soy.

Sorry, should say - they seem to

Tesco Finest Oat Spelt And Barley Farmhouse - not the cheapest but very nice. Annoyingly tesco seem to have stopped making their nice oat bread that was soya free.

Waitrose own brand sliced brown bread is soya free. I think the 'essential' range one is only 80p.

Some pitta is soya free I think in tesco. Ciabatta is also soya free.

Oh and also Tesco finest chocolate loaf is soya and dairy free and only £1 at the moment - nice toasted with some (dairy free) sunflower spread.

Waitrose whole meal and their own version of 50 50 is soya free.
Hovis granary
Part bake rolls always handy in cupboard with long shelf life
Some crumpets and hotcross buns forget which so read and buy when I find them.
Most not all whole meal pitta

My ds is also dairy and soya free (as am I while bf). We eat:
New York bagels (other bagels may be ok)
Part-baked baguettes
Ciabatta
Homemade bread (packet mix chucked in breadmaker)

That's great thanks. I will get myself down to waitrose Smile

Casting my mind back to our soya free days M&S was the best option, they did a sliced white and also one of their bread roll packs was ok. It was a while ago so please check the packs!
