i was told today that hayfever medication works better and hayfever is milder if you start to use it before the season starts.
I have heard that about eyedrops before but not about antihisamines.
has anyone found it to be true?
ds2(7) usually starts to really suffer middle of may so i'm thinking of giving him the benedryl syrup as of now.
don't suppose there would be any harm anyway would there?

Not sure if it's suitable for children but last year my brother drank nettle tea all spring and summer and found his hayfever was noticeably milder.

Apparently fresh nettles(!) are the most effective but dried nettle tea is available in health foood type places.
