allergy to nutramigen AA?

help,
does anyone know if you can be allergic to Nutramigen AA. Only had baby on it for a few days previously she reacted to Nutramigen 2 so asked to change the prescription. She's started coming up with a rash on her cheeks and neck after a bottle. It could have been something she's eaten but I'm very careful to make sure she doesn't get anything she's allergic to. So unless she's developing new allergies or somehow had some cross contamination of food I don't understand how she's getting poorly again. I thought this stuff was totally fine for babies with multiple allergies. Any advice would be much appriciated thanks x

I don't know about the allergies I'm afraid but my dd was on nutramigen aa. She also had a rash on her face and her arms, the doctor diagnosed eczema and we had some cream for that.

Her arms still flare up but her face is fine now.

My DD2 who is now 13 months old is on Nutramigen AA and also has ezcema which she has cream for. Sounds like that tbh.

My dd is also on nutramigen aa most of her eczema has cleared up but she has one patch on her chin which is stubborn and needs steroid cream to clear it up. It sounds like she probably has eczema.

Could try neocate instead?

before the dr started prescribing the Nutramigen she kept giving us various creams to use I've got a day cream, night cream and two types of steroid creams. The steroid creams helped a bit but never cleared it up and I don't want to use them all the time because even the dr admitted we should only use them for a course because they thin the skin. A dose of piriton clears her up but she's not even meant to get that yet, she's only 7 months. She does definatly have sensitive skin I've had to change soap powder and she came out in a rash after having a bubble bath even tho it said it was hypoallegenic (don't normally use soap but she was in the bath with her big bro). I looked at the ingredients and noticed it had soya oil in it, but researched about it and apparently the protiens are compleatly broken down so shouldn't cause an allergy. I think neocate is pretty much the same but if she's still getting bad by monday gonna get her back to the docs.

My DD's skin reacts to soya in bubble bath or shampoo. She has cmpa & soya protein allergies.

I think the sensitive skin means that ezcema will continue to be a problem even if all food allergens are removed. Its part of the package of being an allergic person.

I would consider dustmite allergy, and look at skin care routine. when my son was small the routine of constant moisterizing was a pain but did work. has steriods twice daily until he was 5 and then didnt need them. now a teen with dry skin. I have had ezcema all my life, but is more controllable now than when i was a child.
