Epipens & Skiing

My eldest dd is going skiing with the school at half term ! YIKES!
Any advice on the best/safest ways to carry her Epipens?
The school have suggested 1 on her person and 1 with staff.
Do they need any extra insulation in cold weather?
We have the new style in the tougher tube so not worried about breakage.
More worried about teenage complacency/bravado/know-it-all/mum over-reacts type attitude!!!

My understanding is that they shouldn't be exposed to extremes of temperature so if your daughter is carrying it then probably in some kind of pouch under her jacket/outer layers. We have the opposite issue in the summer where we are as it regularly goes above the recommended maximum temperature.

They do need to be kept above a certain temp. DS carries epipen, piriton, inhaler and spacer in a little life backpack. It is quite padded, and we also put the epipen inside a padded pencil case. If she's not having to carry a bulky spacer then It'll probably be ok in an inside pocket in her jacket.

does she have an inside pocket in her ski jacket? Prob best to have 2 with her, and 2 with staff id say.
