Has anyone tried making Christmas cake with Pure? Did it turn out ok? I've just made a normal one with butter and it was all I could do not to lick my fingers and the smell is making me drool.

I've made cakes with pure and vitalite. I think vitalite tastes a bit better.

Try using half vitalite and half trex, ie if your recipe is 100g butter, use 50g of each.

Ooh I haven't heard of Trex.. Will look out for it.

Vitalite is also cheaper than Pure!

Is it for Dairy free? I have found the hard blocks of Stork margerine work ok too.
