tips for cat allergy help

Hi all, i have agreed to stay with mil for easter weekend,(caught me after a few glssses of vino} but am very allergic to her cat other than antihismanins does anyone have any tips to make it through the weekend.Smile

There is not much you can do, I'm afraid but there is a lotion your MIL can apply weekly to the cat to make it "less" allergenic (Petal Cleanse), however, it takes 2 weeks to work (and fro the allergen levels to go down inside the house) so, she would have to start using on the cat ASAP.

The other option is to leave the cat out for a couple of weeks, or at least vacuum clean thoroughly, wash all fabrics, etc.

Or, you can take Fabreeze with you (the blue one helps with allergens). DS is soo allergic to certain things that I have to carry bed sheets and blanket if I want to save him from a long night of coughing Sad

thanks i'll get some petal cleanse. And take some fabreeze. hope it works if not will have to escape outside as much as poss, i was thinking of taking the tent but i don't think i can brave the weather Smile
