DS1 has an extreme grass pollen allergy, plus a severe tree pollen one. IgE for grass over 100.

So, his raft of meds (already on daily ventolin, becotide and loratidine plus piriton for flare ups) is to have Singulair and beconase added.

Positive news though, GP feels that more tests might show more allergies, and that possibly the asthma is allergic in nature which might be easier to treat? (They only tested for grass and tree as most obvious suspects)

Still no epipen, despite 2 anaphylaxis. GPcan't prescribe until DS has seen the consultant. Piriton, ambulance and hope in case of another reaction.

Have you tried just blasting out whatever the allergens are with Sterimar? It's pure seawater so won't interact with other meds. I used it when I was pregnant and couldn't take my usual antihistamines and it sorted out my hayfever - instant relief too, which is fab :)

Good luck, hope you've got it under control now

xx
