RAST again!

I have looked through previous posts but can't find anything so sorryif this comes up a lot.
My dd1 has just had RAST test done but afterwards I realised I didn't know exactly what allergies they test for.
Can anyone help, TIA

not sure what rast test is tbh im sure someone will be along soon, i have to have food allergy tests but they havnt told me what they test for sorry Smile

Hi there! We just got my ds's RAST results last weeek. He had the standard paediatric screen done, so was tested for cows milk, hens eggs whites, nuts (peanut I think), codfish and wheat. Ds came back allergic to everythign except fish :(

How long does it take for results?
She had it done Friday.

We were told that it should ony take 7 days, but as we had his bloods taken 19th Dec, we were expecting them back in the new year We FINALLY got the results last week, neary 10 weeks later, and this wasn't on the NHS Angry

I would say 1 to 2 weeks. If you haven't heard anything in 2 weeks, start to chase them.
