Dairy Free Easter Eggs

Please can anyone tell me where to get them from?

I have bought a "bang on the door" egg before from the local supermarket but found my 3 yr old didn't like it much - too strong and bitter.

Or does anyone have any other ideas please?

Carob is less bitter than dark chocolate, you can get it from health food shops. It doesn't taste quite the same as milk chocolate but my nephew, who had a milk allergy, used to adore it.

Plamil do them, from Holland and Barrett, and I think the Green and Black dark chocolate one is dairy free, isn't it?

Green and Black is very strong for children. Spent a fortune on specialist eggs for my DS2 a few years ago and he hated them - they did taste disgusting. Luckily he can now tolerate chocolate in moderation. Not sure what the answer is as there are very few dark chocolate one around.

Try veganstore.co uk. They have a pack of 5 chocolate bunnies for £3.99 which is "safe" and seasonal. Other wise I have, on previous years, bought one of those pretty cardboard eggs which you can get and filled it with whizzers mini eggs.

Kinnerton's do luxury "free from" plain chocolate bars. They are free from milk, eggs, gluten & nuts.

Mrs Big D, ive just followed your link for dietary easter eggs and im really pleased they have a gluten free, dairy free, soya free one which im ordering for my ds , id been racking my brains as to what i could make him . thanks very much.x

Oh my, I guess I will need to take DS out of the nursery the day of the egg hunt Sad. Can't imagine an Easter egg free from soya, nuts and milk. And even if ther are... how could the nursery ensure DS the right ones? *%^& allergies, I wish so much he was not allergic to one single things less than he is... Sad

The kinnerton egg is available in tesco...either bang on the door or bart simpson(dd took part in her first easter egg hunt at rainbows and the look on her face when she got an egg just like the others was pricelessSmile)

Just thought of letting you know (In case your some of your children can't have any kind of chocolate) that Wittards of Chelsea has some Plastic Easter eggs that have jelly beans sweets inside, no dairy, soya or nuts in them.
