My 23 month old is a mik monster, she wants it all the time and will only take it out of a bottle. I think that its odd because she was breast fed for 18 months and I only gave her a bottle to wean her off! Over the last 6 weeks she has started being sick one night a week (always Wed/Thurs!? & when shes been in nursery) between 9 & 10pm, loads of vile sour milk projectile vomited everywhere! She also has a recurring nappy rash & a touch of eczema. Can a toddler have too much milk? Is it an allergy or intolerance? She has never refused any dairy & has never had any immediate reaction to it.

first off congratulations for breastfeeding for so long, my daughter is 17months now, how did you manage to wean her? I would take her to the doctors so they can do some allergy tests just for peace of mind! x

I tried to wean for ages but everytime I made any progress she picked up a bug and when she was sick she really wanted to be breastfed. I'm probably too soft but I hadn't the heart to refuse! I ended up giving her a bottle with cows milk at night as a substitute. I know its a backward step but nothing else seemed to work and I needed to sleep!! Good luck!!
