ouch my eyes

my eyes have been really stinging and watering since the hot weather ,today is really bad my eyes looks all puffy ,can i take piriton ,or whats the best stuff to buy thanks.

Hi. poor you. it sounds like hayfever to me so yes you can take piriton but it can make some people drowsy. also piriton is fast acting but you might need to take it every few hours. you can get longef lasting antihistamines which are usually one a day tablets. also you can get eye drops so if it's just your eyes then that could be another option.

If yoh can, speak to a pharmacist who can advise you on what is best. also its worth knowing that somd may nog work for you so you'll need to try another type. there are lots available.

Hi, I have hay fever which mostly affects my eyes, they get extremely itchy and rubbing them just makes it worse. During the summer I always carry a little bottle of supermarket's own hay fever eye drops, and always found them to work brilliantly. Good luck, and don't let it spoil your summer!

Sorry. should have said that the pharmacist should also be able to tell you if it's sothing else like conjuctivitis. i get hayfever and my eyes get bad and occassionally it turns into conjunctivitis just with all the rubbing.
