Yes :(
started last week.

Had to switch from my one-a-day to Piriton yesterday but the drowsiness is lasting far to long.

eragon · 09/03/2012 15:21

its not hay fever, its tree pollen.
did you start taking your daily antihistamine 2 weeks before march?

cos, if you didnt its a bit late, as it builds up in the body, and then helps to control symptoms.

eye drops, nasel sprays, do work.

keep yr bedroom window closed.
shower before bed.

good luck. have a feeling this season is gonna be dreadful.

BloooCowWonders · 09/03/2012 18:37

if it makes me sneeze, it makes my eyes water and it makes my throat sore - it's hay fever to me (and the people I have to explain my explosive sneezes to!)

Yep - started last week here.....

PersonalClown · 09/03/2012 18:41

Yep . Mine kicked in with a vegenance the other day.
Tree pollen is the worst for me, with freshly cut grass a close second.

I've heard this year is going to be bad.

strawberrymivvi · 10/03/2012 18:28

Same here :( I've got eczema on my eyelids as well. Please don't say this years going to bad last year was bad enough thank you.

I always forget I get hay fever till I get it, you'd think I'd remember but no. Perhaps I should set a reminder for next year to start to take the tablets early :)

That explains it. Gah, here we go again.
