egg intolerant - duck eggs

dh is egg intolerant.
has anyone experience if duck eggs might be ok?

I'm imagining the protein is still the issue but I'll welcome any new ideas and discussion points ... I think they just taste a bit stronger?

We avoided all eggs when ds had his egg allergy. Can't imagine they would be any different from chickens eggs.

I've always assumed that the protein in hens' eggs would be very similar to ducks' eggs so not suitable for those with allergies, the same as most children with cow's milk allergy can't have goat's milk either as the protein is so similar. Not sure though!
