yes I've been. It was great for me and good for the kids too as they realise other children have similar/ worse problems. They also remind you to check your epipens - there is always one that is out of date

yes i went to one a while ago, very good.
both of us went, and although the day didnt cover anything we hadnt already thought of, it was the conversation in the car afterwards that started us working on planning for our sons future.
We talked about the steps we would take to bring him up managing his own allergies.
It was also good to meet parents with far more on their plates compared to us re allergies!!

BTW I work part time with the anaphylaxis campaign with the teenagers. currently still training.

how old is your son williamsmummy?
The teen years are the most dangerous aren't they?My ds is 3 so we ahve a while to plan for it.

william will be 10 in march, and is in year 5 of primary school.
senior school is not far of, that said, he will taking some trips away from home .
He has a weekend trip with his school, and will have a whole week in yr 6. He also wants to join scouts , so camping is ahead!!! AH!

As soon as we knew that this allergy stuff is for life, the training begins.
sorry to waffle on!
But yes, william will be going to a workshop when he is old enough, maybe even two, one at 11/12 and one later on a 15-16, well, thats my plan!
