Just wanted to share with you all that I made rice pudding with oatly & it turned out great! Desserts are always the hardest things to find for my ds so I was delighted!

Thanks for sharing . I have a milk intolerant child and the thought of making a pudding with stinky formula fills me with dread. Might give that a go with the oat milk so I can give it to both dd's x thankyou

On the subject of desserts... piginthekitchen's warm spiced apple cake is amazing (wheat, dairy and egg free) and not too hard to bake. My DS hates rice pudding and custard so desserts are very difficult! We rely on soya yoghurt with fruit pot mixed in

Spiced apple cake sounds lovely. How does it compare to Mrs Crimbles dutch apple cake? DD1 is very fussy about desserts too - won't eat rice pudding either (so I end up eating it - it's jolly nice made with Kara). She's not a fan of said dutch apple cake so don't want to make it if it's similar. Thanks garliclover
