Allergy Translation Cards

Does anybody have any good experience of buying allergy translation cards? I'm thinking something like this or this? I have anaphylaxis to shellfish, and am allergic to wheat, kiwi and pineapple. I'm travelling to France the week after next, where I'm relatively confident with reading menus, but then in a few months I shall be driving through Europe, and after a recent nasty experience in Italy, I'm a bit worried about not speaking the languages well enough to get it right.

Has anybody ever ordered any of these cards? I want something that looks suitably professional to be taken seriously.

I bought the ones from Allergy UK for a holiday in Italy with milk/dairy allergic son. I never needed to use them but it made me feel better to carry them. Just 3 laminated credit card sized bits of paper, bit steep at £15 but I looked on it as a charity donation.

Hi there - I got our translation cards from Allergy UK for Greek. In France I speak the language well enough, but the Greek ones are great for peace of mind. My dd has a nut allergy, and we have today found out that she also has a shellfish allergy, so I will be getting new cards printed. They're great cards and arrive very quickly.
