vitalite...milk allergen

My dd is allergic to milk, eggs and nuts. We have always used vitalite...this morning I noticed that our new tub had new packaging and casually checked the ingredients to find that it now says allergens: milk :(

Sorry if this has been mentioned before. I'm going to phone their helpline when it opens. In disappointed.

What?!!! I'm horrified! We always use Vitalite as it's cheaper than Pure and, in my opinion, tastes slightly better. I'm so annoyed!

thereinmadnesslies · 22/11/2011 09:15

That's really poor. We use it for cooking, I prefer Pure on toast though.

Please report back on what the helpline says.

crunchynuts · 22/11/2011 10:37

It's a printing error. Pure is rubbish compared to Vitalite.

freefrommum · 22/11/2011 11:38

I'm confused because their website is www.vitalitedairyfree.co.uk so how can they possibly put milk in it?! Is it really a printing error?

RumNoRaisins · 22/11/2011 12:43

Called their customer care line and they have confirmed it is a printing error in the first few batches of the new packaging. Recipe has not changed.

Thank goodness for that! Well done RumNoRaisins

Sorry everyone...my internet hasn't been on all day! I also called the customer care line and its a mistake on the packaging as rum already said...panic over!
