I know things tend to go in groups

I have 3 absolute confirmed intolerances, found by exclusion

Nutrasweet - very fast acting
Almond - contact allergy if I eat it I get mouth ulcers & if it's in toiletries I get a rash

& now coconut - also very fast acting

I am fairly sure I have others; but whether my tummy problems are all intolerances or if I have IBS as well is still debatable

its possible to have intolerance and ige allergies.

so, what sort of reactions do you have with the almond and coconut.

( can cause intol, but more commonly ige.)

any artifical sweenter is horrible for ibs, so i avoid all in any form.
so is caffine, which encourages your lazy bowel.

i have just found out by elimination diet, that gluten is a problem, and beans, and poss milk. even lactose free milk....and still wondering about that one.............but am now eating lots of gluten as going to have a coeliac test.

its all been a bloody misery really.

Well with the almond it's contact Mouth ulcers if I eat it & a rash if I use toiletries with almond oil

The coconut is straight forward diarrhoea/cramps/pain within an hour with coconut evidence if you know what I mean, but I'm now on my third attack since about 4

Saccharin is bad but nutrasweet much worse; I've avoided it for over 10 years. But I still get caught out when it's in soup or bread or chocolate
