Do any of your DC's have a raised count?

It has been discovered that DS (normal IgE, negative RASTS, history of allergic reactions) has a raised level.

This shows 'allergic disease' (eg reactions). He has hayfever so they are putting it down to this but the blood test was Feb just before the tree pollen started in full swing! so is probably always slightly raised they think.

It still doesn't point to what is causing the reactions but does indicate 'something' going on in the body.

Just looking for the chat about experiences.

bumping for evening crowd.

Oh and I did the thing you shouldn't and googled. It would appear IgE alone isn't enough to diagnose allergic reactions (because of general atopic conditions) and this level is important in diagnosis.
