Dairy free in Menorca????

DD is on a dairy free diet and we're off to Menorca next week - does anyone know if you can get soya milk, yogurt etc over there? We're staying in Cala'n Forcat which is pretty touristy by all accounts but we'll have a hire car to get to a big supermarket if necessary. Thanks

Haven't been to menorca, but Spain and the canaries were pretty good for getting soya milk and yoghurt so would imagine menorca would be the same.

Same as the above response, my experience of dairy free produce has been good in Spain. Just be careful of one thing though. Spain sell a yoghurt that they call a soya yoghurt (or words to that effect), however it is normal dairy yoghurt with soya added! Also don't forget that you can pick up translation cards if you want to eat in a restaurant but can't speak the language, although in a commercialised area, many of the locals will probably speak reasonable English. That said, it might be worth taking a Spanish/English dictionary with you.

Enjoy your holiday. I'm not jealous at all!!!!!
