I've always had a limited diet, lots of things upset my tummy & I have IBS

Tonight I am really ill; so is it the candy floss at lunchtime (food colours, maybe? 10 hrs later) or the cheese & onion flan this evening (eggs, milk or cheese...I don't eat pastry - I'm not that good with flour; 2 hrs later)

What does anyone think?

oh, poor you katy :( so sorry you're having a rubbish time.
fwiw ds1 (dairy allergy and ibs) is ill within 2 hrs, his symptoms are like food poisoning if you get my drift, in order not to do tmi Wink

dairy is statistically more likely to be the culprit out of your list - but obv could be any... did you leave the pastry or eat it, just to clarify?

IBS diagrnosed by camera (about 15 or so years ago)

Not a great gluten eater tbh esp not pastry, pasta, white sauces etc; tho' bread is normally OK (yeasty stuff)

Don't really do eggs or milk or cheese..........no I didn't eat the pastry

Sorry I was exhausted & fell asleep

If it was an infection in the egg would DD & DH have been ill?

I had ibs for 25 years on and off before it turned to coeliac disease , it may be worth being re tested just to rule it out.

That's interesting - the only (large quantity) gluten I do is bread - I barely eat cakes/biscuits and never pastry/pasta/sauces etc

I did wonder
