Just sent DS off on a cub's bike ride to find the route was down a lane that is flanked on both sides by hazlenut hedging. I went with it, gave the leaders and DS the heebie-jeebies by explaining the heightened risk (his last anaphylactic reaction was down to halzlenut pollen on his scalp) and that any reaction would come on more quickly as he'd metabolise it quicker as he was excercising.

BUT it was all fine. I'm now on a large bottle of beer and I'm NOT logging it on my weight watchers counter (ha!) which makes me feel slightly better in a strange way ...
Anyway sorry for the rant - just sharing the moment ...

Wow, well done for being so brave and that is great that he was fine in the end. Sounds like your beer was well deserved and definitely doesn't count for WW!! you probably lost the equivalent calories through stress anyway :)

God 5! I don't know how you lasted. I suppose this is it now, we'e just going to have hairy moments like this where we have to hold our breath and just see what happens.
