Pollen Allergy - never known it present itself this way.

DS2 has been diagnosed as having pollen triggered eczema. Has anyone ever heard of or experienced this?

Now you know whats causing the ezcema have you got a better way to treat it? I know last week you were really concerned.

Ds's excema is also worse atm witn all the pollen around+we bath him every night to relieve the asthma a bit.

My mum has a flare of her eczema when the pollen gets high. She reckons its as her histamine levels get high from the hayfever it makes her skin super sensitive

Helium, I still am very conerned. But I can now look at alternative treatments.
The Dr gave doublebase and piriton to be used daily.

I am going to a chinese herbalist this weekend with him to see what they can suggest.

I kinda expected him to have hayfever but not eczema through pollen.

Doublebase works very well with my DS - hope it does for your DS too. Cargirl linked to a mirror story about an acid pollen cloud on another recent hayfever thread. Worth a gander - it may be this 'event' is making everyone worse atm and it will ease off again.

Heres hoping, I have been using the db only since yesterday. I also need to get him some pure cotton sheets and some gloves so he stops wiping cream off his hands. and new pj's and wash his clothes seperatly....arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh does it get easier lol
