Parmesan

Is it possible to have an allergy to just parmesan cheese and no other cheeses?

DS2 (10.5 months) had a little over his meatballs this lunchtime and I noticed the skin on his face became a bit red and he was rubbing where the parmesan had come into contact with him. He was fine up until that point, so I don't think it was any of the other ingredients (which he has on a regular basis with no issues).

It's not a problem, but I was just surprised as he's fine with all other dairy/eggs etc.

I remember hearing it contains high levels of natural monosodium glutamate -it could be that he is reacting to.
