My ds has had reactions to certain food coloouring s which have included swollen lips, coughing, uncontrollable diarrhoea alternating with constipation. plus hyperactivity. I've been keeping a food diary and spoken to the health visitor.

Is it worth seeing the GP too, can they test for these things , thanks

Absolutely - do see your GP. Swollen lips and coughing are indicative of an allergic reaction. Ask your GP for a referal to a specialist consultant in paediatric allergies.
