Had my son, age 3, tested for cat allergy aswell as egg and pistachio nut today
He is still allergic to egg and not to pistachio but found out he is allergic to cats, we have a cat and he is fine with it, he can stroke him and stroke other cats and he is fine, but its the saliva that can affect him ( a few weeeks ago the cat kissed him in the eye so the saliva made his eye swell. Spose we just have to be careful that he doesnt get too near to his face in future. Was wondering if anyone else has experience of cat allergy and what they do to help minimise reactions happening?
