Does soya take time to leave your system?

I understand that it can take a couple of weeks for dairy to fully leave your system - DD started to show sensitivity to dairy a month back and a couple of days back had a reaction after I ate soya mince (nothing else that day that I think it could be).

I've since read that it's common to have a reaction to soya if you are sensitive to milk protein but was wondering if there was a time frame before soya left your system or there should be an instant improvement?

I'm not having much joy getting help from the GP with the various potential issues DD seems to be having (she's gaining weight really well and that seems to be all they are interested in) and am starting to get a bit lost Sad

Thanks

Babybarrister - it's depressing isn't it - thankfully HV (who is actually pretty good) has referred me to the dietetian at the hospital so I don't have to argue with the GP anymore Smile
