Latex allergy ???????

HI I have been finding sex with latex condoms excruciating and after a few months waiting for a hospital appointment because we didn't know what was wrong me and my partner got caught in the moment and had sex without a condom and it didn't hurt. Next time we had sex my partner noticed blistering internally and raw peeling skin after sex with a condom.

So I thought the only difference was the condom and decided to see if I was sensitive to it(possibly not the best idea)so I rubbed a condom on my foot for about 10 seconds Blush and the skin cracked and went all scaley straight away and started peeling the next day. Does this sound like a latex allergy if so what contains latex and how do I get it diagnosed?

sounds like a latex allergy. Your doctor can confirm it. You can get latex-free condoms quite easily now.

Sounds like a latex allergy to me. I get itch & sore if I use them, but not to your extent, thankfully! See your dr.

Stop using them. Go latex free.

Another allergen common with latex is kiwi fruit Tomatoes. I am OK with toms, but Kiwis make my mouth crack. So watch that!

Make sure you let everyone know if they use gloves, as they will need to avoid them.

It was good in my case when I was pregnant with dd2. I needed an elective section & was first in, as they had to make sure the theatre was latex free! Grin

Ok I will speak to a doctor see if he will test me I am using the latex free ones (which I notice are more expensive Angry) I do seem to not get sore so I think that is it.

Thank you, hopefully I can get this sorted quite easily now Grin. differentnameforthis does sound useful I would hate waiting around for a csec Grin.
